Preparation & protection
Inside the home, our team protects floors, furniture and belongings before beginning work. This is what happens in your home before anyone opens a can.
If you plan to hang something back in the same location, you can simply leave the nail in place and let us know not to fill it.
We work with all major paint brands and select products based on the needs of the project. Sherwin-Williams and Benjamin Moore are the brands we use most frequently. The appropriate product and sheen depend on the surface, the room, the existing conditions, the appearance you want and how the space will be used — so these are discussed during the consultation rather than applying one specification to every home.
A starting point, not a rule. We confirm the sheen room by room during the consultation, because light, use and the condition of the surface all matter.
The cost
Compiled from published 2026 Chattanooga cost guides (HHI Southeast, HomeYou, Angi). Most Chattanooga interior repaints fall between $2.50 and $4.50 per square foot of floor area. High ceilings, extensive repairs and major color changes move a project toward the top of a range. Your proposal is based on your home and the conditions we see on site.

It depends on the number of rooms, ceiling height, the amount of trim and the repairs needed. A single room is usually a one- to two-day project. A whole-home interior typically runs one to two weeks. Your proposal includes the expected duration, and we confirm the schedule before work begins.
Small and fragile items, wall art, electronics and anything on shelves, countertops or windowsills in the rooms being painted. We take care of the furniture, covers and protection. If you plan to hang something back in the same location, leave the nail in place and let us know not to fill it.
Yes. Nail holes and minor wall imperfections are repaired, and areas are spot-primed when necessary, before the finish goes on. Larger drywall repairs are reviewed during the consultation and listed in the proposal.

As a general guide: flat or matte on ceilings, matte or eggshell in bedrooms and living areas, eggshell or satin in hallways and busy family spaces, satin or semi-gloss in kitchens and bathrooms, and semi-gloss on trim and doors. We confirm the sheen room by room during the consultation, because light, use and the condition of the surface all matter.
Two coats is the standard for a uniform, durable finish. A major color change or bare, patched areas may also call for a primer coat. The number of coats is written into the proposal so there are no surprises.
Yes. Accent walls and room-by-room colors are discussed during the consultation and listed in the proposal. The number of colors is one of the factors that shapes the scope and investment.
We stay in communication throughout the project and address questions or requested changes as they come up. If a change affects the scope, we confirm it with you before continuing.
In most cases, yes. We work room by room and keep the work area contained, and we plan the sequence with you so daily life can continue. Interior walls and trim are brushed and rolled; as a rule we do not spray in occupied homes.
Our team protects floors, furniture and belongings before beginning work. Furniture is moved when necessary, except major heavy or fragile pieces. Outlet and switch covers are removed. Areas not being painted are covered so paint goes only where it is supposed to go.
Yes. We check the progress daily and keep the work area clean throughout the project.
At completion we walk the project with you and take care of any necessary touch-ups before the project is called finished. Our interior painting work also includes a two-year workmanship warranty beginning on the date the project is completed.
