Working around your business

Your business keeps running.

We understand that painting a commercial property requires more than completing quality work. Your business still needs to operate, your employees need to work, and your customers need to be served. That is why we coordinate the project schedule around your business hours whenever possible.

01

Tell us about the property

A conversation about the building, the work it needs, and how it is used day to day.

02

Walk the site

We inspect the surfaces, take measurements and define the scope. A detailed proposal follows electronically.

03

Schedule around your hours

After hours, weekends or in planned phases — whichever keeps the disruption to your operation smallest.

04

Final walkthrough

We walk the completed project with you and address any necessary touch-ups before it is called finished.

The standard

Same preparation. Different schedule.

Our standards for preparation and workmanship do not change between residential and commercial projects. What changes is our flexibility.

What flexibility means in practice

We develop a schedule that respects how your business operates while still giving our team the time and access needed to complete the work properly. After hours, weekends, or in phases — whichever keeps you running.
The harder ones

Thirty-foot ceilings and fifty-year walls.

Our experience includes painting churches with ceilings approximately 30 feet high, and restoring warehouses that had not been painted in more than 50 years. Projects like these require the right equipment, extensive preparation, careful planning and patience.

The cost

What shapes a commercial proposal.

Commercial work is priced on the building and on how it has to be scheduled. We walk the site before anything is quoted.

How a commercial quote is put together

Commercial work is priced on two things at once: the building, and the calendar. The building sets the scope — area, height, surface condition, how we reach the work. The calendar sets the rest, because painting a running business after hours or in phases takes more visits than painting an empty one straight through.

We walk the site before quoting, and we ask how the space is used before we ask what needs painting. The proposal comes back with the scope, the sequence and the schedule together, so you can see what the phasing is costing you and decide whether it is worth it.

What to expect

Seven questions facility managers ask.

The ones that come up on nearly every commercial project.

Can you work outside our business hours?
Yes. If the work needs to be completed after hours, during weekends, or in carefully planned phases, we schedule the project accordingly to minimize disruption to your operation.
In most cases, no. We coordinate the project schedule around your business hours whenever possible, and we can run the work in phases so that part of the building stays in use.

No. Our standards for preparation and workmanship do not change between residential and commercial projects. We protect surrounding areas, prepare each surface properly, address visible imperfections and keep a clean, organized work environment throughout.

Yes. Our experience includes churches with ceilings approximately 30 feet high. Work at that height needs the right equipment, extensive preparation and careful planning, and that is written into the scope.

We have restored warehouses that had not been painted in more than 50 years. The condition of the existing surface drives the preparation, and the preparation drives the result. We take the time it needs.
